we live in a time of immediate access to tremendous amounts of information, yet many will not accept simple, plain facts. the human ego’s urge to be right shows itself, often, to be greater then its desire for truth and growth. real progress hurts. it is inherently uncomfortable. but it leads to a better life and a better world. it is the only way. an unwillingness to change and grow squanders the many sacrifices of former generations. comfort and complacency allow all of our progresses to atrophy, and even, if allowed, to recede.
